Observing Log for Mike Durkin 2/20/2002 7:00-7:30 Robert Moses State Park Went to RM to try see moon occult Saturn. I was the only one at the site. It was very wind any mostly overcast had a patch of clear skies for about 10 minutes, was able to see moon and saturn, but the sky cloded over about 5 minutes before the occultation was supposed to happen. 2/18/2002 ~6-8 PM Tried to go to Jones Beach and Robert Moses State Park, none of the lots were open. Pity too because the sky look clear although it was cold, at about 30-40 F. I may need to find another open area.
