These pictures were taken on a really good night at Robert Moses State Park. For all the images, the camera was piggybacked on my 127mm Mak. Unfortunately I set the f-stop on the camera lens to f/1.4. That caused a significant amount of coma in the images. You can see the effect in the stars, particularly near the edges of the images. Rather than nice round circles, the stars look like triangles. I should have made the f-stop f/2 or higher.

Despite the coma, I am pleased with the images, particularly the one of Sagittarius. It clearly shows the Milky Way and the dust clouds. There are also some nebula and plenty of star clusters. On both the Scorpius and Sagittarius images, I also created a copy of the images with deep sky objects labeled.
