Digital Camera shots of Uranus and Mars.

Uranus

Here is a image I took using my Nikon Coolpix 995 with my StarMax 127. I also used an 18mm eyepiece threaded into the camera lens along with a 2x Barlow. The exposure was for 1 second, and I used full optical zoom (4x). The only enhancements I made to the image were to remove some hot pixels. You can see a small trail due to the winds that night.

Here is a image I made by stacking a group of images of Mars. There are only about 3 or 4 images stacked here. The winds were too string that night, so most of my shots of Mars were unusable. Each shot was taken using my Nikon Coolpix 995 with my StarMax 127. I also used an 18mm eyepiece threaded into the camera lens along with a 2x Barlow. You can make out the polar cap on the bottom of the disk and a dark feature across the disk of the planet.
