Transparency: 7/10, Seeing 3/5
Temperature: about 25-35 degrees
Equipment: 10x50 and 15x70 binoculars
Observed comet Lovejoy C2014 Q2 in Lepus. It was fairly easy to find in the southern part of Lepus
near HIP 24528, although it wasn't very impressive to see, most likely because of the significant
light pollution and the fact the the comet was low in the sky (about 20-25 degrees altitude). I
would estimate tht the coma appeared about 10-20 arcminutes in diameter. No obvious sign of a tail
or elongation.
After that I made a visual measurement of α Ori.

Saw one faint slow moving meteor that went to the west. I am pretty sure it was a sporadic.
