Observing Log for Mike Durkin 9/6/2026 about 9:00PM-11:00PM Locust Valley, NY Transparency: 2-10/10, Seeing 3/5 Temperature: 60-75 degrees Equipment: Hutech modified Canon T3i The holiday weekend. DSLR photometry of R CrB, P Cyg, and CH Cyg. I also wanted to see if I could image SS Cyg since that seems to be star that gets some interest. I got to the point of having my lens at about 200mm focal length, although I don't think I was able to see it and a lot of clouds started to roll in. The magnitude right now is about 11.5, which may be just beyond a resonable level for my to pick up, but I will probably try again.
