Observing Log for Mike Durkin7/15/2006 about 9:00-10:00 PM Nazareth, PA Transparency: 5/10, seeing: 4/10 127mm Mak Went to Vinny's for the weekend, broke out the scope to look at Jupiter. With the 17mm(90x) eyepiece, we were able to make out a couple of equitorial bands and some shading in the polar regions. Within a half hour though, the seeing became awful. It was like trying to look through a river. After that I packed it up.
