Spent most of the time discussing some astronomy items with Louis the neighbor.
Showed a little bit of M45 through the binoculars.
Took a quick look at M42 through the telescope.
Measured variable star T Cep before wrapping up.

Equipment: Stellarvue 70mm refractor

A very windy night after raining earlier in the evening.
Visual measurements of variable stars Mira, S Cet, T Cep, and α Ori.
Observerd the Moon for a little bit and noted some of the ridges near the edge of Mare Imbrium. Also the craters Helicon and Le Verrier.
Took a quick look at Jupiter. Saw all Galilean 4 moons, however no features on the disk since the air seemed very turbulent in that direction.
Also a quick look at Mars with the barlow lens, but the image was not sharp enough to make out any details.
