Tonight is the lunar eclipse and I took some pictures using the 70mm telescope that I just got back from the manufacturer after they cleaned out some condensation.

All images taken using a Hutech modified Canon T3i DSLR. The camera was attached to a Stellarvue 70mm refractor. Various exposure lengths, all less than 1 second. No tracking was used.

Then after that I did a quick DSLR measurement of P Cyg.

Locust Valley, NY
Transparency: 10/10, Seeing: 3/5
Temperature: about 55-65 degrees
Equipment: Canon Rebel T3i

DSLR photometry of P Cyg and CH Cyg.
I also think I was just able to make out a bit of the Milky Way in Cygnus at the zenith and streching into Cassiopeia.

9/7/2015 about 9:00PM-12:00AM
Locust Valley, NY
Transparency: 8/10, Seeing: 3/5
Temperature: about 70-80 degrees
Equipment: 127mm Mak, 10x50 binoculars and Canon Rebel T3i

Showed Saturn and M27 to Linda's boyfriend with the 127mm Mak and a 17mm eyepiece. Saturn was not in the ideal position since it was so low to the horizon. M27 was also a bit dim, but the rectangular "dumbell" shape was clearly visible.
Visual measurements of Z UMa, R Aql and RV Aql.
DSLR photometry of P Cyg and AG Peg. I was hoping to get CH Cyg, but it was too late.

Temperature: about 60-70 degrees
Equipment: Canon Rebel T3i

DSLR photometry of AC Her, R Lyr, P Cyg, CH Cyg and AG Peg.
First time on AG Peg, which is supposed to be a nova in outburst.
Conditions were also very good for the evening, although my lens did dew up once or twice.

Attepted to image the Elephant Trunk nebula and Sharpless 2-129. There was some slight dew in the missle of the observing session. I also had to cut a little early since the sky went from very clear to essentially totally overcast.
