Temperature: 35-45 degrees

DSLR photometry of AB Aur, hopefully using the fainter stars in the AAVSO alert. The last
time I tried this, the bright moon interfered a bit and may have decreased the signal to
noise ratio. Since this night is darker, I am trying again.
After that I tried to see if I could use the zoom lens on the Flaming STar Nebula in
Auriga, but at 300mm, the purple halos around the broghter stars is pretty severe.

Went to RMSP for the Gemenid meteor shower. I met up with a couple of AOS members
while I was there. They were there to also take some astrophotos unrelated
to the meteor. I took my camera hoping to make a composite image, however after
taking a couple dozen images, I didn't see any meteors
in the frame, so I doubt I'll be able to do that.
Visually I saw about 10-15 meteors all night. About 2 or 3 were sporadics.
I also visually measured the brightness of α Ori.
