Sept. 21 2002: My first attempt using the digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 995, with a telescope. All pictures are of the moon.
Nov. 23 2002: First time using the Ultima 8 and the digital camera. Got some pictures of the moon and Saturn.
April 12th 2003: First attempt at taking pictures of Jupiter with my digital camera and my Ultima C8.
May 4th, 2003: A prime focus shot of a crescent moon showing the effect of earthshine.
Sept. 10th, 2003: Some digital images of Mars and a shot of Uranus.
Nov. 8th, 2003: Pictures of the lunar eclipse from Caumsett State Park.
Dec. 28th, 2003: A lot of astrophotography tonight.
A decent image of Saturn from my digital camera.
Some prime focus shots of the Moon and the Orion Nebula.
A couple of piggyback shots of the Orion and Taurus constellations.
February 28th, 2004: My first photos of Venus, and some pictures
of Saturn and Jupiter.
April 18th, 2004: Some decent pictures of Jupiter and a so-so image of Venus.
June 8th, 2004: Images of the Moon and Sun from Robert Moses State Park during the transit of Venus. I was not able to get a clear picture of Venus in the photos.
Sept. 10th, 2004: Wide angle images of Cygnus and Cassiopeia. These are the first images I took using a light pollution filter for my camera lens.
November 6th, 2004: Some wide angle shots using a zoom lens. Images of M45 and the Andromeda Galaxy.
Dec. 5th, 2004: My first webcamer image of Saturn. Not as good as my Nikon images of Saturn.
Jun. 6th, 2005: Image of Jupiter using my Coolpix 995 and a 2x barlow. Despite the good seeing that night, the image quality isn't as good as I had hoped. You can however make out the Great Red Spot.
July 2, 2005: Some wide angle shots of Scorpius, Sagittarius, and Altair.
Sept. 24, 2005: Some poor images of Uranus and Mars during a windy night.
