Earier in the day I did clean the mirror of the 16 inch Meade, although I did not
try to use it tonight. Hopefully the cleaning job was done OK.
12/9/16 about 11:30PM-1:30AM
Locust Valley, NY
Transparency: 9/10, Seeing 3/5
Temperature: 25-35 degrees
Equipment: Canon Rebel T3i
DSLR photometry of b Per, γ Cas, κ Cas, ρ Cas, and ε Aur.
b Per was mainly a test run for an eclipse event around 12/15, so I want to be ready if
I have clear skies on Friday night. Note that because the lens was a little bit better
focused, I had to use a shorter exposure, around 6 seconds. When I measure P Cyg, I am
not as well focused and take longer exposures.
Also did a visual measurement of α Ori.
